America First Legal (AFL) has initiated a comprehensive investigation into the Biden-Harris Administration's alleged connections with the Iranian regime. This investigation involves multiple U.S. government agencies, including the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of State, Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The focus is on an alleged leak of two classified U.S. intelligence documents detailing Israel's military plans against Iran.
The documents in question were reportedly published by a Telegram account linked to the Iranian government on October 17, 2024. They are titled “Israel: Air Force Continues Preparations for Strike on Iran and Conducts a Second Large-Force Employment Exercise” and “Israel: Defense Force Continue Key Munitions Preparations and Covert UAV Activity Almost Certainly for a Strike on Iran.” These documents allegedly include NGA satellite data and U.S. signals surveillance information concerning Israeli military preparations.
In addition to this investigation, AFL has filed a lawsuit against the DOD for not releasing records related to Ariane Tabatabai, Christopher Maier, and other Biden-Harris appointees purportedly involved in the leak. The DOD denies these allegations. AFL claims that Tabatabai is part of a pro-Iranian regime faction within the administration, alongside Robert Malley and Salman Ahmed.
Reed D. Rubinstein, Senior Vice President at America First Legal, stated: “The Iranian regime is a malign rogue actor... The American people have a right to know why the Biden-Harris Administration reversed the Trump Administration’s policies, instead choosing to fund and support the regime’s oppression and aggression.”
Rubinstein emphasized AFL's commitment to uncovering what he describes as dangerous ties between current U.S. leadership and Iran.
