Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Mackenzie Bimpson, age 26, of Otisfield, Maine, has pleaded guilty to three felony counts of sale of fentanyl in excess of five grams in Coos County Superior Court.

The court sentenced Mr. Bimpson as follows: 

-    2 to 4 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, stand committed, with six months of the minimum sentence suspended upon successful completion of the FOCUS Unit Program, among other conditions; and

-    5 to 10 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, all suspended for 5 years upon release from incarceration on the above charge.The evidence in this case established that Mr. Bimpson sold large quantities of fentanyl to a confidential informant in the Berlin and Whitefield areas on three occasions. 

The investigation and resolution of this case was the result of the collaborative efforts of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force, the Lancaster Police Department, the Whitefield Police Department, and the Berlin Police Department.

This case was prosecuted by Attorney Camden D. Bisson of the Drug Prosecution Unit.
