Attorney General Todd Rokita has taken action against a home improvement contractor accused of defrauding Indiana homeowners. The contractor allegedly collected significant sums from customers without delivering the promised services.
Rokita stated, "Here in Indiana, we won’t tolerate businesses that collect payment and then fail to do the work they promised. We will always work to hold accountable businesses that violate the trust placed in them by hard-working Hoosiers."
The Attorney General's Consumer Protection team secured a judgment totaling $341,006.81 in civil penalties and restitution. This judgment is directed at Quest Concrete LLC and Cobraro & Company LLC, operating as Quest Exteriors. These companies are described as a network of contractors that allegedly failed to provide expected improvements.
Rokita praised Deputy Attorney General Tamara Weaver for her efforts in removing these entities from the Indiana market and securing the restitution order.
