High school teachers across the United States have the opportunity to request visits from federal judges to their classrooms in December. These visits are part of an initiative to observe Bill of Rights Day on December 15th. The sessions will include a federal judge, an attorney, and a non-attorney court professional.
The program offers interactive Q&A sessions that can be conducted virtually or in person. Each session lasts for either 50 or 90 minutes and begins with a four-minute video designed to spark discussion on "The Bill of Rights in Your Life." Additionally, the team will discuss career opportunities within the judicial system.
Teachers interested in arranging these educational visits should reach out to Rebecca Fanning, the national educational outreach manager.
