Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill's Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Hammond resident on Thursday, April 4, for multiple sex crimes against children.

William Blake Porter, born on April 3, 1991, faces charges including first-degree rape of a child under the age of 13 and possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13. The arrest followed a collaborative investigation involving the Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.

Porter is currently held at the Tangipahoa Parish Prison. Authorities have stated that the investigation is ongoing.
