Attorney General Todd Rokita is alerting Indiana residents about consumer protection issues related to household products recalled in September. The announcement encourages consumers to utilize available options for those who have purchased potentially harmful items.

“Hoosiers deserve protection from products that don’t work and should not have to tolerate them,” Attorney General Todd Rokita stated. “If you purchased an item in September that has been recalled, you should immediately stop using the product and see what forms of reimbursement the company that sold or manufactured the product is offering.”

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has listed several consumer products recalled last month. Consumers are advised to stop using any recently purchased recalled products, check their recall notices, and follow instructions on how to return, fix, dispose of, receive a refund for, or replace the product.

For recalls issued before June, consumers can visit the Consumer Protection Safety Commission website.
