A new group of lawyers has been admitted to the bar in a ceremony held at the state capitol's House Chambers. The event took place on September 26, 2024.
Justices Douglas Bahr, Jerod Tufte, Daniel Crothers, and Lisa McEvers were present to welcome attendees and guests. The ceremony included the recitation of the oath by the new lawyers.
After the formalities, the justices met with each of the new lawyers in a receiving line. Justice Tufte was seen shaking hands with Helen On, one of the newly admitted lawyers.
During the event, Sarah Belliston added her name to the Roll of Attorneys while Colton Martin recorded the moment on his cell phone.
