Utah Judicial Council seeks public input on court commissioner retention

The Utah Judicial Council has announced a public comment period for three court commissioners who are up for retention. This process is in accordance with Utah Code of Judicial Administration Rule 3-201. The commissioners will be considered for a four-year term. The public is invited to provide comments, though they are not required to include their names or contact information. The deadline for submitting comments is October 4, 2024.

The court commissioners under review and the corresponding email addresses for submitting comments are as follows:

Commissioner Kim M. Luhn from the Third District Court can be reached at markp@utcourts.gov.

Commissioner Marla Snow from the Fourth District Court can be contacted at debbiej@utcourts.gov.

Commissioner Julie Winkler, who serves in both the First and Second District Courts, can receive comments at brettf@utcourts.gov or glenp@utcourts.gov.
