The Nebraska Supreme Court will hear arguments on three ballot initiative challenges regarding abortion rights on Monday, September 9, 2024. The cases are scheduled to begin at 10:00 am in the Supreme Court Courtroom at the State Capitol in Lincoln, Nebraska. Each side will be allotted 15 minutes for their arguments.

The Constitution of the State of Nebraska distributes judicial power among the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, district courts, and county courts. All state courts operate under the administrative direction of the Supreme Court. In addition to these constitutionally created courts, Nebraska's judicial system includes separate juvenile courts in Douglas, Lancaster, and Sarpy Counties and a statewide Workers’ Compensation Court.
