Jhogel Florentino (age 30) from Providence, Rhode Island has been indicted by the Providence County Grand Jury on multiple charges. The indictment, reported on August 15, 2024, includes one count of possession of more than one kilogram of fentanyl, one count of possession of more than one kilogram of methamphetamine, one count of possession of more than five kilograms of marijuana, one count of possession of one ounce to one kilogram of cocaine, and one count of possession of one ounce to one kilogram of heroin.
Additionally, Florentino faces charges for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a firearm with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a firearm with an altered or obliterated serial number, and possessing a prohibited large-capacity magazine.
The alleged offenses occurred in Providence on February 16, 2024. The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation leading to these charges.
Florentino is scheduled for arraignment on August 21, 2024, in Providence County Superior Court.
