Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce that it has been named an early adopter of Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Certification Process. This designation is granted to firms that have consecutively achieved Mansfield Certification for at least five years and remain committed to maintaining this standard. Jackson Lewis is dedicated to earning the 2024-2025 Mansfield Certification while advancing its initiatives to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the legal field.
“Being part of the Mansfield community is something we’re truly proud of,” said Firm Chair Kevin Lauri. “We work hard to make sure that diverse voices and perspectives are at the heart of our leadership and decision-making. By aiming for the 2024-2025 Mansfield Certification, we’re reinforcing our commitment to these values and look forward to continuing to set an example in the legal profession.”
The Mansfield Rule is a structured certification process designed to ensure that all talent at participating law firms has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership. Mansfield is committed to ensuring that advancement opportunities are inclusive and that historically underrepresented groups receive the same level of priority as other qualified attorneys. Participating firms are asked to recommit to the principles of transparency, accountability and knowledge sharing each year.
“Effective DEI efforts must be grounded in genuine commitment and actionable change that builds systems where all can succeed,” said Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer and Principal Kimya S.P. Johnson. “At Jackson Lewis, we believe that true progress requires more than symbolic gestures. We are grateful for organizations like Mansfield that provide guidance, ensuring our DEI approach is rooted in accountability and works toward meaningful and lasting organizational impact.”
Since 2019, Jackson Lewis has achieved the highest designation in Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Certification.
