North Little Rock man arrested on child pornography charges

Attorney General Tim Griffin announced the arrest of Alexander Page Garner, 21, of North Little Rock on two counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

“This arrest stemmed from a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Special agents from my office’s Special Investigations Division executed a search warrant at Mr. Garner’s home earlier today. While at Garner’s home, agents discovered materials depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, and Mr. Garner was taken into custody," said Griffin.

He added, “I am grateful for the diligence of my office’s special agents and the assistance of the North Little Rock Police Department. I will not waver in my commitment to keep our children safe.”

Garner's charges are classified as Class C Felonies. Following his arrest, he was booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center where he is being held without bond.

Tim Griffin has served as Arkansas's Attorney General since January 10, 2023. Prior to this role, he was the state's Lieutenant Governor from 2015-2023 and represented Arkansas’s Second Congressional District from 2011-2015. He has been an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps for over 27 years and holds the rank of colonel.

Griffin also served as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas and held various roles under President George W. Bush's administration including Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Political Affairs.

Griffin is admitted to practice law in Arkansas (active) and Louisiana (inactive) and resides in Little Rock with his wife Elizabeth and their three children.
