The North Dakota Juvenile Court is seeking applicants for the position of Juvenile Court Youth Coordinator in Minot, ND. This part-time, temporary role offers a wage of $17 per hour and requires approximately 20 hours of work per week, including flexible evening and weekend hours with some weekday availability.

The primary responsibility of the Youth Coordinator is to provide services to youth and their families during their involvement with the Juvenile Court. Duties include assisting with transportation for court-related activities, helping youth seek employment, facilitating access to social activities, aiding in college or job training applications, mentoring healthy relationships, and connecting families with relevant programs. The coordinator will also document activities in the case management system and report any instances of neglect or abuse as mandated.

Candidates must have a high school diploma. Work experience with youth is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to maintain confidentiality, follow set rules, and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Additional responsibilities include attending staff meetings and court sessions as needed, conducting drug tests and curfew checks when requested by juvenile court officers, and performing other related duties.
