TAMPA, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - A Florida woman says in a new lawsuit that a man recorded to her nude in the dressing room of a Forever 21 store.
Christina Haynes filed a lawsuit June 10 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against multiple defendants including F21 OPCO, L.L.C. (Forever 21), Westfield, L.L.C., Westfield Property Management, L.L.C., Brandon Shopping Center Partners, Ltd., Allied Universal Executive Protection and Intelligence Services, Inc., and Robert Ansel Johnson.
The case stems from an incident on May 19, 2023, at the Brandon Mall during which Haynes alleges she was stalked and filmed by Johnson while trying on clothes in a Forever 21 fitting room.
She says Johnson first attempted to enter her dressing room stall, which did not feature a lock. After he was rebuffed, she noticed a phone enter the bottom of her stall recording her as she was undressed, she says.
The complaint adds an employee said it wasn't the first time something like that had happened there.
The complaint includes counts of negligence against the various corporate defendants for failing to provide adequate security measures and supervision, as well as intentional infliction of emotional distress and assault against Johnson.
