Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a West Monroe man for possession of child pornography under the age of thirteen.
Herman Brady Jr., 71, residing on Wheelis Street in West Monroe, was taken into custody on June 27. He faces charges for violating LA R.S. 14:81.1, with 285 counts of possession of child pornography under the age of thirteen.
The arrest followed a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and resulted from a joint investigation by General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit and the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Brady Jr. was booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center without incident and is currently being held without bond. The investigation remains ongoing.
