Vermonters are being encouraged to share their thoughts and concerns regarding data privacy and their experiences as social media users. This call for public comments extends to parents and teachers of social media users as well. The feedback will be reviewed by the Attorney General’s Office, which may follow up with respondents via email.

"After your comments have been reviewed by the Attorney General’s Office, you may be contacted by the office," stated a representative. To facilitate future contact, individuals are asked to provide an email address.

It is important to note that all submitted comments will become public records. For any inquiries, Vermonters can reach out to the Attorney General's Consumer Assistance Program at (800) 649-2424 or via email at ago.cap@vermont.gov.
