Providence County Grand Jury indicts two men for assault

On June 4, 2024, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Neil Bonilla, age 30 from Woonsocket, RI, with one count of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling house, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, and one count of simple assault. The alleged act occurred in the City of Woonsocket on March 30, 2024. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation. The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on June 26, 2024, in Providence County Superior Court.

On the same day, the Providence County Grand Jury also returned an indictment charging Eugenio Bonilla III, age 33 from Woonsocket, RI, with one count of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling house and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury. The alleged act occurred in the City of Woonsocket on March 30, 2024. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation. The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on June 26, 2024, in Providence County Superior Court.
