TAMPA, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - A Florida woman claims Ryan Kane, the owner of Secure the Bag Record Label, made inappropriate advances to her, then fired her for rejecting them after getting her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

A lawsuit was filed April30 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court by Shalom Breakstone against Secure The Bag Record Label, LLC and its owner, Ryan Kane

Breakstone alleges that she was subjected to sexual harassment during her employment at the record label from December 2022 until March 2023. The suit alleges numerous instances of unwelcome advances and inappropriate behavior by Kane, including sexually charged comments, text messages and physical contact.

Breakstone claims that Kane created a hostile work environment rife with sexual harassment towards female employees. She alleges that on multiple occasions, Kane made unwelcome advances towards her, including entering her hotel room during a work trip and attempting to have sexual relations with her.

In another instance, he allegedly touched her body without consent and attempted to kiss her.

The complaint also alleges that Kane sent a nude photograph of himself to Breakstone via text message and threw another woman's underwear at her in the workplace.

In March 2023, Breakstone says Kane told her she would not receive her next paycheck until she signed a non-disclosure agreement. Two days later, she was fired, she says.

Taylor Roebig of Florin Roebig represents the plaintiff.
