ORLANDO, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - A Florida man claiming psychosis from an over-prescription of Adderall is suing the pharmacies who provided the drug.

A lawsuit was filed May 1 in Orange County Circuit Court by Robert Buckley against multiple pharmacies and pharmacists, including CVS/Pharmacy #5152; two unnamed CVS pharmacists; Costco Wholesale #00185; two unnamed Costco pharmacists; Publix Pharmacy; and three unnamed Publix pharmacists.

The pharmacists filled prescriptions for Adderall for Buckley, who alleges he was over-medicated - "sending him into psychosis," the lawsuit says.

Buckley claims he suffered seizures and permanent injuries and that his psychosis caused him to be falsely imprisoned.

James Vickaryous of Vickaryous Law Firm represents the plaintiff.
