Attorney General Todd Rokita is raising awareness among Indiana residents about the consumer protection concerns related to products that were recalled in April. His office is urging consumers to avail themselves of the remedies available for those who have purchased items that could potentially be harmful to their families.

"Keeping children and Hoosiers safe is my top priority," Attorney General Rokita stated. "If you have one of the recalled products, stop using it immediately and pursue resolution from the manufacturer. If you have difficulty finding a solution for your recalled product, call my office immediately."

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has listed the consumer products that were recalled in April. If consumers suspect they have recently purchased a recalled product, they are advised to cease its use and check its recall notice. The notice will provide instructions on how to return the product, get it fixed, dispose of it, receive a refund, or what steps must be taken to receive a replacement product.

For recalls issued prior to April, consumers can visit the Consumer Protection Safety Commission website.
