WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - A Florida daycare facility faces allegations it let a child play with toys that appeared to be leaking bleach.

A lawsuit was filed April 16 in Palm Beach County Circuit Court against Stepping Stones Learning Center of Palm Beach County by the parent and natural guardian of a minor referred to as G.C.

The plaintiff alleges that while under the care of Stepping Stones Learning Center, G.C. was negligently provided with toys that were leaking a chemical believed to be bleach which led to personal injuries and damages.

The complaint also accuses Stepping Stones of failing to comply with Florida law and administrative code concerning child safety at daycare centers. It is alleged that the center failed to provide a safe environment for the children under their care.

The plaintiff is represented by attorney Marci Ball Elordi.
