Holland & Knight has named Janene Jackson executive partner of the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Ms. Jackson will oversee the day-to-day management of the 190-plus lawyer office, while continuing to manage her local government practice. “We are proud to have Janene as our new executive partner,” said Holland & Knight Chair and Chief Executive Officer Bob Grammig. “Since joining Holland & Knight in 2014, Janene has continuously proven herself to be a tremendous asset to the firm. Her record of leadership in the D.C. community is truly remarkable, and she will lead our Washington office with enthusiasm and wisdom.”
Ms. Jackson uses her extensive experience to help clients navigate the legislative and regulatory aspects of local government. Having worked in all branches of the government of the District of Columbia, Ms. Jackson brings a 360-degree approach to assisting clients with their government relations and lobbying needs, business development interests and legal representations in administrative proceedings.
In the community, Ms. Jackson serves as president of the D.C. Bankers Association and on the board of directors of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the board of directors of the Golden Triangle and the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, D.C.
