BOSTON (Legal Newsline) - A Boston woman says she was hit with a beer bottle thrown from the second story of a nightclub located in Encore Boston Harbor.

A lawsuit was filed March 14 in Suffolk County Superior Court against Wynn MA, LLC and Big Night Entertainment Group by a Boston resident, Catherine Hadro.

Hadro alleges that she suffered injuries at Mémoire nightclub located in Encore Boston Harbor, which is owned and operated by the defendants.

The incident occurred on December 17, 2023, when a beer bottle fell from a balcony onto Hadro's head, causing lacerations. The plaintiff claims that the nightclub had knowledge of such risks but did not take reasonable steps to prevent them.

The complaint also alleges negligence on part of both Wynn MA LLC and Big Night Entertainment Inc., stating they breached their duty of care towards her.

As a result of the incident, Hadro suffered profuse bleeding and a concussion and required four stitches on her scalp. She also lost valuable time from work and has struggled to return to her daily activities due to emotional distress caused by the incident, she says.

Hadro's lawyers are Christopher Davidson and Matthew Dunn of Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin.
