Gary has been a healthcare transactions attorney for over 30 years and has practiced law for 35 years. He has been recognized as a “dealmaker” due to his success in closing a great number of strategic transactions, including for hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, home health companies, nursing homes, laboratories, and pharmacies.

Gary expressed his enthusiasm for joining the esteemed cohort of Garden State attorneys, saying, “Over the course of my career as a health care transactional attorney, I have become a trusted advisor for my clients and mentor for other attorneys. Whether navigating significant strategic transactions, consolidations, private equity partnerships, joint ventures, buyouts, or affiliations within the healthcare industry, I enjoy the challenge of being an attorney.  Each client and each project are different and require careful analysis to assess the situation and the best plan for achieving the desired outcome. Very few deals are ‘identical,’ and I truly enjoy the challenge of working on a such a large variety of matters, each of which helps clients achieve their goals. It is a privilege to be acknowledged for my professional contributions and community engagement.”

Gary has a long relationship with, and quarterbacks the firm’s pro bono services for, Copline, a nonprofit that provides free counseling to first responders experiencing traumatic events, or other stresses with their job and family life. He also previously served as member of the Board of the Make a Wish Foundation of New Jersey.

Following an open nomination period, honorees were chosen by a panel of independent judges with experience in the justice system. A celebration showcasing these professionals will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at The Palace at Somerset Park.
