ORLANDO, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - Another lawsuit claiming mimosa-flavored Vizzy hard seltzers should contain champagne has been filed.

Molson Coors Beverage Company USA LLC is facing a class action lawsuit filed March 15 by Kate Krechting and Andrea Fahey in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.

The plaintiffs allege that the company has misled consumers about the ingredients in its mimosa-flavored Vizzy hard seltzers. The mimosa, created by bartender Frank Meier at the Ritz Hotel in Paris in 1925, traditionally consists of champagne or sparkling wine and orange juice.

However, according to the lawsuit, Molson Coors' version does not meet these standards because it lacks champagne.

Molson Coors is already facing a similar lawsuit in New York. The Florida case was filed by William Wright of West Palm Beach.
