Holland & Knight has strengthened its Private Wealth Services Group with the addition of Bryan Howard as a partner in Nashville.
Mr. Howard previously was a co-founding member of a boutique trusts and estates law firm, Howard Mobley Hayes & Gontarek PLLC. Prior to that, he was a partner at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, which combined with Holland & Knight in March.
"Bringing Bryan on board is a huge bonus for us," said Christopher Boyett, co-chair of Holland & Knight's Private Wealth Services Group. "He is a highly regarded attorney in the Nashville trusts and estates community, and we value his extensive experience, so I am thrilled to have him on our team."
For more than 39 years, Mr. Howard has assisted high-net-worth families with wealth transfer planning, tax reduction strategies, charitable giving and asset protection planning. He also advises the owners of closely held businesses on tax and business succession issues as well as represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries with trust and estate administration and litigation issues.
"Holland & Knight possesses the comprehensive resources and support that I was seeking to help me better serve my clients," said Mr. Howard. "The attorneys in its Private Wealth Services Group are second to none, and I look forward to combining forces with them and my former colleagues at Waller."
Mr. Howard earned an LL.M. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, a J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
