ORLANDO, Fla. (Legal Newsline) — The estate of a Florida man who sustained fatal injuries a vehicle crash is suing Ford Motor Company alleging the vehicle's airbags failed to deploy.

The personal representative of the Estate of Christian Aguayo, decedent, filed a complaint March 21 in Orange County Circuit Court against Ford Motor Company, Walker Ford Company Inc., and Mullinax Ford of Central Florida Inc., alleging liability, negligence and other claims.

According to the plaintiff's complaint, Christian Aguayo was driving a Ford Escape on Feb. 4, when he lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer off the road and strike a tree. The plaintiff further alleges the defendants' negligence for failing to provide adequate warnings or have proper inspection, testing and quality assurance on the vehicle before placing it in the stream of commerece.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $50,000, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. The plaintiff is represented by Steven Nauman of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
