In a move signaling the firm’s intention to grow and expand in Connecticut, Marshall Dennehey announced that Keith McCabe, a veteran trial lawyer with more than 30 years of insurance defense litigation experience, has joined the firm’s New Haven office as a shareholder in the Casualty Department.   “Keith’s extensive experience handling complex litigation makes him a great fit for our firm as we look to grow our New Haven office,” said Howard P. Dwoskin, Director of Marshall Dennehey’s Casualty Department and Chair of the firm’s Board of Directors. “He is a highly accomplished trial lawyer who is well known and respected in the Connecticut legal community, and we look forward to his contributions.”

McCabe represents clients in both personal and commercial claims involving automobile liability, premises liability, hospitality and liquor liability, and general liability matters.  He has tried over 75 jury cases to verdict in a broad range of claims, from simple automobile accidents to premises liability cases, as well as claims involving significant catastrophic injuries such as paraplegia, brain injuries and death.

A graduate of Trinity College, McCabe earned his juris doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut.

Marshall Dennehey opened its New Haven office in March 2022 with four attorneys focused on casualty, health care and professional liability matters. McCabe is the fifth attorney on staff.
