Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Risa Borowick Brown and Esther H. Lee were selected to join the 2023 Colorado General Counsel Mentor Program, which aims to provide a powerful networking and professional development opportunity for senior associates and junior partners with diverse backgrounds.
As members of the new class of mentees, Brown and Lee will have access to general counsel and senior in-house lawyers throughout the Denver Metro Area, who are voluntarily participating in the program with the goal of helping attorneys successfully grow their practice and expand their mutual networks. The program also provides participants insights on how to effectively build and manage client relationships, develop business and build relationships with chief legal officers.
Elevated to partner in 2022, Brown represents owners, developers, contractors, design professionals, commercial landlords and other construction and real estate sector clients in a broad range of commercial litigation. A member of the Litigation Department and Appellate Practice Group, she has experience in state and federal trial courts, arbitration, and on appeal where she focuses on disputes involving construction and design defects; recovery and subrogation issues; breach of contract and indemnity; title insurance claims; real property issues, easements, and property line boundaries; and landlord-tenant issues.
Lee, an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, helps clients navigate high-stakes commercial disputes. She has represented businesses and individuals involving business disputes and torts, cannabis matters, contract breaches, bad faith and extra-contractual claims, insurance coverage, shareholder derivative and construction defect actions. Lee is also part of the 2022 Class of Pathfinders for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and is a mentor with Denver Law Ascent with University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
