MORNING VIEW, KY (Legal Newsline) - Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s sons were in Northern Kentucky over the weekend promoting their father’s America First policies to working-class families.

“This is not your grandfather's Democrat party,” Donald Trump Jr said to an enthusiastic crowd. “Your grandfather, if he was a Democrat, would be rolling over in his grave at what is today's Democrat party platform.”

Trump was a featured speaker at the 2nd Annual Freedom Fest on Sept. 10 along with his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, his brother Eric, Candace Owens, and Corey Lewandowski.

“Democrats care more about making sure your 3-year-old can permanently neuter themselves than they do about working-class families,” he said to the rally of people that shouted approvingly. “They want to make sure that dudes who aren't good athletes can compete against women. That's their hill to die on these days.”

Freedom Fest was sponsored by Bulldog Media, Eric Deters, and the Eureka Energy Corp. Deters is a Kentucky candidate for governor who hosted the event on his Madison Pike farm.

“We need to hold the weak links on our side accountable,” Trump said of Republicans in Name Only (RINOs). “That's the best thing that Donald Trump brought to the table. He showed us that it can be done. We just need to stand behind fighters. They're a big part of the problem because they tell us what we want to hear. They say it so wonderfully and then they go to D.C. and do exactly the opposite. We need to overwhelm it.”

The family-oriented rally offered a bouncy house, balloon rides, and fireworks from 4 pm to 10 pm as well as burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, ice cream, shakes, and tacos.

“It's time to say enough is enough,” Trump added. “It's not racist or misogynistic or homophobic to put America first. We just need to do it. So, Kentucky… stay involved. Stay in the game. Stay in the fight. Be unafraid and make your voices heard because we need to fight for our country and our freedoms and our constitution. We need to leave our children an America that they recognize but we can't do it without you guys.”

Owens recalled her Democratic past to a cheering crowd.

“Just eight short years ago, I was on the left,” she said. “I used to believe that the people who are crowded around right now were backward, were racist, were Republican, wanted slavery, and wanted to destroy this great country. Where did I get those ideas from? Understanding where those ideas come from is the only way that we can come together to defeat what's going on. First and foremost, it starts in the household.”

Eric Trump, who was present at Mar-a-Lago when FBI agents descended on his father’s home, criticized the law enforcement agency.

“Donny and I are straight edge guys, right? No crack, no hookers, and the FBI were at our house,” he said. “Shouldn't they be at Hunter Biden’s house?”

Other speakers included the American Priority Foundation's Tom Shadilay, Bikers For Trump National President RC Pittman, Babylon Bee Owner Seth Dillon, and Ohio gubernatorial candidate Jim Renacci.
