Morgan Lewis partner Megan Bell has been elected as a fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, which promotes sound tax policy and engages with the government on matters affecting the tax system. Membership in the exclusive organization is reserved for tax lawyers at the top of their profession who are recognized for their extraordinary accomplishments and professional achievements and for their dedication to improving the practice of tax law.
Megan advises clients in the tax-exempt sector on a wide range of issues, including formation and restructuring, general tax compliance and corporate governance, fundraising, complex gifts and collaborative funding arrangements, internal and regulatory inquiries, domestic and international grantmaking and partnerships, investments (both generally and impact-focused), lobbying and political campaign activities, and the structuring and ongoing maintenance of multi-vehicle initiatives.
Megan and the 13 other fellows most recently elected to the American College of Tax Counsel by its Board of Regents were inducted at the organization’s May meeting.
