Baton Appointed to Board of Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey

William C. Baton, a litigation partner in Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr‘s Newark, New Jersey office, Vice Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, has been appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees of The Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey (AFBNJ). 

The AFBNJ, entering its 49th year of existence, is widely regarded as “the voice of the federal bar in New Jersey,” and is comprised of distinguished judges and lawyers devoted to matters of New Jersey federal practice and education. Mr. Baton, recognized by Chambers USA for his expertise in intellectual property litigation, focuses on high stakes, complex patent litigation, primarily under the Hatch-Waxman Act. He also serves as a Master of the intellectual property focused John C. Lifland Inn of Court, which promotes collegiality and education among the bench and bar. His civic/community interests include serving as founder and president of Stad’s Crabfest Inc., a New Jersey Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to raising awareness and enhancing the quality of life of those affected by cancer. Mr. Baton will be sworn in as a Trustee of the AFBNJ during a privately held ceremony scheduled to take place in June 2022.
