Alexandra S. Jacobs Appointed to Serve on District of New Jersey Lawyers Advisory Committee

Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce that Alexandra S. Jacobs has been appointed by Chief Judge Freda L. Wolfson to serve on the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey Lawyers Advisory Committee.

The mission of the Lawyers Advisory Committee is to serve the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in achieving, dispensing and administering justice in a fair, impartial, effective and efficient manner. The Lawyers Advisory Committee serves as a liaison and method of communication between the bench, the bar, and the public and undertakes projects and investigations at the request of the Court.

Jacobs is a senior associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.  She focuses her practice on contracts, commercial real estate, cannabis law, personal injury, municipal law, and products liability.  Alex practices in both federal and state court at the trial and appellate levels.  She has substantial experience in trial work and arbitration.

Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Alex served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Noel L. Hillman and as a magistrate law clerk for the Honorable Joel Schneider of the U.S. District Court.

Alex also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert B. Kugler of the U.S. District Court.  While in law school, she was the editor-in-chief of the Rutgers Law Review.
