MIAMI (Legal Newsline) - The Professional Golfers’ Association of America filed a federal lawsuit on December 10 in the Southern District of Florida against JTBC Plus Corporation for breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the lawsuit, JTBC failed to pay for broadcast rights that were received from the PGA per contract between both parties. JTBC paid the PGA for part of the 2021 license fee, but in turn failed to make two further payments in the amount of $350,000 per payment for a grand total of $700,000, the suit claims.

The PGA sees the contractual payment agreed upon of $700,000, costs, interest and attorney fees. The PGA is represented by Nicholas J. Secco of Chicago.
