Paul is a native of North Carolina and has been helping employers prevent and resolve workplace disputes for more than 16 years. Paul joins Ogletree Deakins from Jackson Lewis P.C. where he was a Principal.
An experienced and dedicated counselor, Paul works with employers to reduce risk and minimize legal costs by advising on difficult personnel decisions before litigation ensues. In the event that litigation is unavoidable, he helps employers protect their assets and reputations by vigorously and efficiently defending them from administrative charges and lawsuits.
Paul frequently advises employers on legal compliance with North Carolina workplace law, as well as Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. He has defended against dozens of employment-based lawsuits for employers in a variety of industries, including clients in the health care, higher education, assisted living, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors.
