In a series of appointments that is emblematic of the tenacity, creativity, and leadership skills of each of these wonderful lawyers, Bailey Glasser is pleased to announce that BG lawyers Lorren Patterson, Alexandra Serber, and Sophia Weinstock have been selected to serve in leadership positions in Women’s Bar Association of DC.
Lorren and Alex will serve as the new co-chairs of the Women and Finance Committee at the Women’s Bar Association of DC (WBA DC). In these new roles, both Lorren and Alex will be designing and driving the success of women lawyers in the finance world, and bringing their energy and expertise to the WBA DC Community. Additionally, Sophia Weinstock will serve as a Co-Chair of the Women of Color Taskforce. Sophia passionately devotes her time to promote the diversity and inclusion of underrepresented persons, specifically women of color, within the legal industry.
Founded in 1917, the Women’s Bar Association is one of the oldest and largest voluntary bar associations in metropolitan Washington, DC. They live their mission each and every day by maintaining the honor and integrity of the legal profession; promoting the administration of justice; advancing and protecting the interests of women lawyers; promoting their mutual improvement; and encouraging a spirit of friendship all women lawyers.
