LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Legal Newsline) -- A woman claims to have suffered injury after tripping and falling while stepping out of a shower at an Arkansas hotel.

Nerida Ynclan filed a personal injury claim on June 3 in the Pulaski County Circuit Court against SREIT RI Little Rock OPCO, L.L.C. d/b/a Residence Inn Little Rock Downtown for negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, On June 23, 2019, Ynclan alleged that she tripped and fell while stepping out of the shower at the Residence Inn. The shower in question had a raised "curb" that was the same color as the shower and the floor tile, which Ynclan alleged she did not see because of it blending in, causing her to fall. Injuries sustained from the fall were severe and permanent including scarring and disfigurement, the suit says.

Ynclan seeks judgment for an amount that will fully and fairly compensate her for damages, attorney's fees and costs of suit and pre- and post-judgment interest. Ynclan is represented by Paul Byrd.
