NELSON MULLINS: Donald Pocock Appointed to NCBA Litigation Section Council

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP partner Donald R. Pocock has been appointed to the Litigation Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). He will serve a three-year term on the council.

The Council is the governing body for the Litigation Section, which is one of the largest membership sections in the Bar Association. This is a three-year appointment, and it is the second time Pocock has been appointed to serve. Pocock will also chair the Awards Committee, which is responsible for awarding the Section’s Advocate’s Award. The Advocate’s Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a member of the Section and recognizes leadership, skill, and dedication to public service.

Pocock's areas of practice include business litigation, construction law, creditor’s rights and insolvency litigation, and consumer financial services litigation.
