Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
Troutman Pepper partners Henry Liu and Todd Reinstein have been recognized by Washingtonian in its annual list of “Top Lawyers” in the D.C. area. The list, compiled by the magazine’s editorial staff, identifies the top legal talent across 21 practice areas. Honorees are determined using a combination of peer feedback and independent research and reporting.
Liu, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Multifamily Housing Finance Practice Group, is recognized for his work in real estate law. His legal practice focuses on the financing of multifamily rental properties. Lenders and mortgage companies rely on him to handle their most sophisticated financing transactions. He also has extensive experience in low-income and affordable housing projects.
Reinstein is recognized for his work in tax law. He has a wide knowledge of U.S. corporate income tax law and significant experience with corporate loss limitation studies (Section 382). Reinstein has submitted successful private letter ruling requests to the Corporate Branch of the IRS National Office and is the co-author of Bloomberg BNA Tax Management Portfolio, No. 764-4th, Dividends — Cash and Property.
Every year those recognized as “Top Lawyers” are featured in the December issue of Washingtonian. The entire list of honorees will be made available on Washingtonian’s website on January 1, 2021.
