LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) – Unhappy users are suing a dating service, claiming it has not abided by a multimillion-dollar settlement.

The class action lawsuit filed Nov. 11 in Los Angeles federal court says It’s Just Lunch has failed to correct problems alleged by a 2016  settlement that provided up to $60 million in refunds and vouchers and addressed the company’s matchmaking claims.

“Instead, IJL continues to engage in similar misconduct,” the suit says. “The company fraudulently induces single professionals, especially women, into contracts by promising them that IJL has multiple matches in its database.

“IJL members pay thousands of dollars for IJL’s services only to discover that IJL either selects matches at random or that the company lies about having other members in their region.”

The New York firm Balestriere Fariello is pursuing the case.
