Bailey & Glasser LLP issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
The national law firm Bailey Glasser LLP has hired Jenny Li as an associate in its Wilmington, Delaware office. Jenny has significant experience representing clients in a variety of corporate and complex commercial litigation matters. She advises corporations and their boards of directors on transactional and corporate governance matters involving the Delaware General Corporation Law, the fiduciary obligations of directors and officers, and other corporate law issues.
“We are pleased to have Jenny join the firm. She comes to Bailey Glasser having represented sophisticated corporate clients in the Delaware courts,” said Cary Joshi, a DC-based partner who heads the firm’s large Commercial and Environmental Litigation practice group. “Jenny will help us expand the services we can offer to our clients. She is a great addition to the Commercial Litigation group and to the firm.”
Even though she just recently joined Bailey Glasser, Jenny already had a two-day trial in the Court of Chancery with partners Brian Glasser and David Felice. The trial addressed the adjudication of preferred stockholder rights as they relate to board of directors and board committee decisions. The entire trial was conducted virtually over Zoom.
Jenny graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Prior to law school, Jenny worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., where she advised companies in assessing acquisition targets. She also received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
