TROUTMAN PEPPER HAMILTON LLP: Troutman Pepper’s Armeen Mistry Selected for ABA Business Law Fellows Program

Troutman Pepper Hamilton LLP issued the following announcement on July 8.

Armeen Mistry, an associate in Troutman Pepper’s Business Litigation Practice Group, has been selected for the American Bar Association’s Business Law Fellows Program for 2020-2022. The program seeks to develop diverse leaders for the ABA’s Business Law Section and offers unique leadership opportunities, mentorships and subsidized section meeting attendance.

“I am looking forward to participating in the Business Law Fellows Program and am committed to being highly engaged with the ABA,” Mistry said. “I am deeply appreciative of the firm’s support in this endeavor.”

Mistry, who operates from the firm’s Detroit office, is an experienced trial attorney and represents clients in all stages of business litigation. She has successfully litigated in federal and state courts in a variety of industries including software, media, and entertainment, and on a wide range of issues, including indemnification, fraud, and general breach of contract and business tort matters.

For over 20 years, the Fellows Program has represented the ABA Business Law Section’s commitment to encouraging the participation of diverse lawyers in section activities. To date, more than 225 fellows have participated in the program and more than 30% currently hold leadership positions in the section. To be accepted into the competitive program, applicants must have demonstrated leadership involvement with the ABA, Business Law Section or a bar organization committed to young lawyers, lawyers of color, LGBTQ lawyers or lawyers with disabilities.
