Ferrante, a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Telemedicine Industry Team and Digital Health Group will give a virtual presentation at the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center (MATRC) and the Northeast Telehealth Resource Center (NETRC) co-hosted Launching into Telehealth Virtual Conference on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 11:45am ET. The presentation is titled: “CMS Reimbursement Successes and Lessons Learned from COVID-19”

This session will take a deeper dive into the "non-traditional" and/or rule exceptions for Medicare, and particularly in light of COVID-19. This includes things like telephone consultations, home as an eligible originating site, interprofessional internet consultation, virtual communication services, remote evaluation of pre-recorded patient information, remote physiologic monitoring and more.
