Krud Kutter filled with toxic crud, class action says

SAN FRANCISCO (Legal Newsline) – Krud Kutter shouldn’t claim that it is earth-friendly because it is toxic to humans, animals and the environment, a class action lawsuit alleges.

The case was filed May 13 in San Francisco federal court and is similar to another recent case filed against the maker of Windex.

In the Krud Kutter case, Anthony Bush is suing Rust-Oleum through lawyers at Clarkson Law Firm and Moon Law in California. Pictures in the complaint show Krud Kutter packaging with the terms “non-toxic” and “biodegradable” on them.

“The products are, in fact, toxic because they contain ingredients that have been linked to lung irritation, skin irritation, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath and severe burns of the skin, eyes and mucous membranes,” the lawsuit says.

The complaint runs down the ingredients in each Krud Kutter product that are allegedly toxic.
