Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP issued the following announcement on May 14.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Lela Hollabaugh, Managing Partner of the firm’s Nashville office, has been named chair of the 2020 Campaign for Equal Justice of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands (LAS).

Held annually since 1987, the Campaign for Equal Justice raises funds for the LAS, which is Tennessee’s largest nonprofit law firm. The organization’s mission is to advance, defend, and enforce the legal rights of low-income and vulnerable people in order to secure for them the basic necessities of life.

“We are very proud of Lela and grateful for her ongoing commitment to helping the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands continue its critically important work,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “Lela will be a dynamic leader of this year’s LAS fundraising campaign.”

Among Ms. Hollabaugh’s Campaign for Equal Justice roles in previous years, she served as a large firm co-chair in 2019. This year’s campaign has a fund-raising goal of $830,000.

A member of Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Hollabaugh has served as the lead trial lawyer in more than a dozen jury trials and in more than two dozen bench trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings. She advises leading natural gas pipeline companies and other infrastructure clients on issues involving location, land acquisition, construction and operations. She also represents leading pharmaceutical, medical device and other manufacturers in matters ranging from individual lawsuits to mass tort cases.

In addition to her LAS role, Ms. Hollabaugh has served in leadership positions in other legal, industry and government organizations. These include general counsel to and past president of the Nashville Bar Association, a trustee of the Nashville Bar Foundation, and a past member of board of the International Association of Defense Counsel. In addition, she is a past chair of the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility and is listed on the American Arbitration Association’s Roster of Neutrals for Commercial Litigation.
