PEPPER HAMILTON LLP: Pepper Hamilton Lawyers Named to Washington, D.c. Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

Pepper Hamilton LLP issued the following announcement on April 17.

Three lawyers from Pepper Hamilton have been named by Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers magazine as top attorneys in the District. Tuhin Ganguly and Goutam Patnaik have been named to the Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers list and David J. Shaw has been named to the Washington, D.C. Rising Stars list for 2020.

Mr. Ganguly is a partner in the Intellectual Property Department and a member of the firm’s Sustainability, CleanTech and Climate Change Team. He focuses his practice on patent litigation, with a particular emphasis on Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission. Mr. Ganguly earned his J.D., cum laude, from Washington University School of Law in 2008, and a B.A. in biology, with honors, from Washington University in 2001.

Mr. Patnaik is a partner in the Intellectual Property Department. He concentrates his practice on intellectual property and commercial matters, including patent, trademark and copyright disputes. Mr. Patnaik earned his J.D., with honors, from George Mason University School of Law in 1998, and a B.S. from the University of Virginia in 1994.

Mr. Shaw is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department. His technical background is in microbiology and protein biochemistry, and he has experience litigating patent cases in federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission. Mr. Shaw is a 2011 graduate of The George Washington University Law School. He earned a B.A. in biology from The Johns Hopkins University in 2002, and an M.S. in tumor biology from Georgetown University in 2007.
