Holland & Knight has been named one of the Boston Business Journal's LGBT Corporate Ally Award honorees as part of the publication's annual Business of Pride program. The award recognizes a Massachusetts company that has demonstrated commitment and innovation to promote greater awareness of and solidarity with the LGBT community.
In choosing Holland & Knight, the publication noted that the firm's Boston office has been a supporter of local LGBT initiatives for more than 15 years, including serving as a longtime sponsor of the annual Spirit of Justice Award dinner hosted by GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), New England's leading LGBTQ civil rights legal organization.
"We are proud of our investment in programs that benefit the LGBT community both in Boston and nationwide," said Dianne Phillips, the co-chair of Holland & Knight's Boston Diversity Committee and the firmwide LGBT Affinity Group. "We have a strong commitment as a firm and as individuals to diversity and inclusion that we try to demonstrate every day."
