Foley & Lardner LLP recently issued the following announcement.

Nathaniel Lacktman, Chair of Foley & Lardner’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, will present at the American Telemedicine Association EDGE 2019 conference in Washington, D.C. on November 20-22, 2019. His panel presentation is titled, “A Reflection on the State of the States Report - Pain and Progress." The session will share ideas on how to successfully advance specific pro-telehealth policies in various states, providing tips to attendees on how to engage with state leaders.

As the only organization completely focused on advancing telehealth, the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) is working to change the way the world thinks about healthcare. ATA is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to safe, effective, and appropriate care when and where they need it, enabling the system to do more good for more people. ATA represents a broad and inclusive member network of technology solution providers and payers, as well as partner organizations and alliances. Together, ATA members work to advance industry adoption of telehealth, promote responsible policy, advocate for government and market normalization, and provide education and resources to help integrate virtual care into emerging value-based delivery models.
