By Press release submission | Sep 10, 2019

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP issued the following announcement on Sept. 4.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Tiffany M. Graves, Bradley’s pro bono counsel, has been named a 2019 Legal Rebel by the ABA Journal, the flagship publication of the American Bar Association (ABA).

The ABA Journal Legal Rebels project profiles innovators who are finding new ways to practice law, represent their clients, adjudicate cases, and train the next generation of lawyers. The project also describes the changes these mavericks are making, according to the ABA Journal, which is sharing the honorees’ stories via the magazine, on the publication’s website, and through its social media channels.

“We are thrilled that Tiffany has been recognized by the ABA Journal as a Legal Rebel for her professional and community involvement focused throughout Mississippi,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “Tiffany has been a strong leader in promoting and working for access to civil justice as she guides Bradley’s extensive pro bono work and community service efforts across our footprint.”

Ms. Graves also formerly served as interim director and adjunct professor for the Pro Bono Initiative at the University of Mississippi School of Law, and as executive director and general counsel for the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project.

Ms. Graves also is active with numerous professional and community organizations and activities, including the Millsaps College Board of Visitors, the Community Advisory Board of the MIND Center at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the Association of Pro Bono Counsel, the ABA, and the Mississippi Bar. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and an Inaugural Fellow of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Network.

Bradley’s pro bono programs involve the firm’s attorneys devoting a significant amount of time to pro bono work and community service each year. In 2018, the firm’s attorneys and staff performed more than 19,800 hours of pro bono service valued at more than $7 million. The firm also donated more than $900,000 to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations last year.
