Bradley Arant Boult Cummings issued the following announcement on July 23.

Bradley is pleased to announce that three of the firm’s attorneys, Justin K. Brown, Stephanie M. Hoffmann, and Janus Pan, have been selected to participate in the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) Leadership Development Program (LDP).

Mr. Brown and Ms. Hoffmann will take part in the AHLA’s Hospitals and Health Systems practice group LDP, and Ms. Pan will participate in the AHLA’s Regulation, Accreditation, and Payment practice group LDP. The AHLA LDP is a year-long program designed to cultivate future leaders of the AHLA, including practice group vice chairs. With nearly 14,000 members, the AHLA is the nation's largest, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to legal issues in the healthcare field.

“We are very proud of Justin, Stephanie and Janus’ selection as participants in the AHLA’s Leadership Development Program, and we are pleased that they will continue our firm’s longstanding tradition of service to AHLA,” said Travis G. Lloyd, Bradley partner and chair of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group. “Justin, Stephanie and Janus are outstanding representatives of our accomplished healthcare team of healthcare attorneys.”

Bradley’s Healthcare Practice Group is a nationally recognized, interdisciplinary team of attorneys and advisors who provide a comprehensive suite of services to virtually the entire range of health industry participants. The Healthcare Practice Group is routinely relied on to guide major transactions, advise on complex regulatory matters, and handle high-stakes litigation. Many of the group’s attorneys have served in high-profile industry leadership positions, including as president of the American Health Lawyers Association, and many have been recognized by leading legal industry referral guides, including Chambers, Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers.

Based in Bradley’s Birmingham office, Mr. Brown is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group. He represents hospitals and healthcare providers in a variety of transactional, regulatory and operational matters. Previously, he was a trial attorney in the Public Defender Division for the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston.

Based in Bradley’s Nashville, Tenn., office, Ms. Hoffmann serves clients in the healthcare industry on an array of regulatory, operational and transactional matters. Before joining Bradley, she served in the business development unit of a commercial health insurance company, working extensively on legal and economic issues related to the national health reform law. She also previously worked in operations and development at an international women’s health organization.

Also based in the Nashville office, Ms. Pan focuses her practice on assisting hospitals and healthcare providers in transactional and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Bradley, she clerked for the Office of the Attorney General of California in the Antitrust Department on matters related to hospital mergers and acquisitions.
